The Global Communications department represents Concord's brand and mission through consistent messaging and strategy. It oversees the development of brand collateral and facilitates all internal and external communications as well as the philanthropic initiatives and events planned by the Company. In executing these responsibilities, we are responsible for the company's brand within the industry, to its stakeholder and to its staff, artists, songwriters, composers and playwrights.

As the Global Communications Coordinator, you'll be responsible for supporting the Global Communications department initiatives by helping to develop and organize internal and external communications, corporate events and meetings that promote a positive brand image and keep stakeholders aligned with company goals. Works under close supervision.

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

  • Support coordination of communications activities as directed by the SVP, Global Communications.
  • Aid in the planning and production of corporate events including identifying and contacting vendors and venues, coordinate with each business area on the curation of guest lists, facilitate dissemination of event invitations, train and manage check-in teams at each event, oversee creation of branded assets such as invitation artwork, step and repeats, and more with the art department, and utilize Adobe suite to create other graphics as needed.
  • Assist in the drafting and/or editing of press releases, company documents, emails, and other internal and external communications as needed.
  • Compose and coordinate dissemination of information and materials such as weekly media snapshot and company newsletter.
  • Create original content including the production of ads, graphics, and video utilizing the Adobe Suite. 
  • Ensure that all documents and materials created by the Global Communications department align with Concord's visual identity and are updated at all times.
  • Duties as assigned by SVP, Global Comms.
Qualifications

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, English, business, or related field
  • 0-1 years of experience in public relations and communications administration
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; detail oriented and professional
  • Ability to analyze and contextualize information quickly and present ideas and solutions clearly and concisely
  • An enthusiastic, creative, self-starter, and team player
  • Passion for music and media relations
  • Ability to travel (possibly internationally) 3 times per year

*This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days minimum on-site.
