Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized, energetic Sports Administrative Assistant to deliver operational, clerical, and logistical support to the General Manager and C-suite executives. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day program administration, team operations, and maintaining effective communication across the athletic program.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Office Support

  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements for athletic director.
  • Oversee and Maintain all social media and website
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and internal communications.
  • Maintain confidential files, athlete records, registrations, and compliance documentation.
  • Process invoices, purchase orders, reimbursements, and budget tracking.

Program & Team Operations

  • Support team logistics, including uniform distribution, equipment inventory, and facility reservations.
  • Assist with athlete onboarding, eligibility verification, and adherence to league or association regulations.
  • Coordinate practice schedules, transportation, and accommodations for competitions.

Social Media Management

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for athletic program.
  • Maintain websites, social media pages, and digital communication tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and scheduling systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying priorities.
  • Familiarity with sports operations, rules, and terminology.
  • Proficiency with Instagram, Facebook, and varies other social media platforms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in athletics administration, education, recreation, or event management.
  • Knowledge of sports management
  • First Aid/CPR certification (depending on organization).
  • Associate's in sports management, business administration, or related field preferred but not required.

Working Conditions

  • Combination of office work and on-site event support.
  • May require evening and weekend hours
  • Occasional physical activity related to event or equipment setup.

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor Position with flat rate Salary (Part-time, Hybrid)

Pay: $4,000.00 per month
