Job Description

Performs daily cleaning tasks for patients and resident rooms, nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, clinic areas, and any other areas assigned by the Environmental Services Department.

SHIFT AND SCHEDULE

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
• Has customer service knowledge skills
• Knows trash removal process
• Knows room cleaning process
• Knows on different types of cleaning such as daily, discharge, terminal and isolation
• Knows how to clean restrooms in public areas versus patient rooms including showers
• Has office cleaning experienceEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• High school graduate or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Prior equivalent work experience in housekeeping, environmental services or related position is a plus. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to

• Stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, lift, see, speak and hear. Lifting is limited to 35 lbs. for clinical staff and to 50 lbs. for non-clinical staff.
