The Category Account Manager is responsible for developing New Belgium's business for individual national accounts along with providing data analytics to the National Account Director and Managers. The primary responsibilities for this position include deep-level analytics for all account divisions and helping deliver insights to key customers. This role reports to the National Account Director.

This is a remote job opportunity. Ideal candidate is not required to live in the state of Colorado.

Essential Duties:

• Provide analysis and make recommendations for promotional, distribution and pricing opportunities for major national account divisions


•Deliver presentations to key customers on actionable insights, support objectives, dollarizes opportunities, and benchmark retailer performance against competition

• Develop and maintain reports to identify and advise on key business drivers

• Analyzes chain volume, share trends, scorecards, performance, compliance, and actionable insights for all account divisions

• Analyze SKU rationalization compared to REM to determine right product mix

• Develop templates to provide Account Director and Managers to use on divisions calls centered around New Items and Programming

• Provide category analytic reporting and consult on results/data

• Manage the syndicated sales databases, conduct ad hoc analysis and present and advise on complex sales information

• Call on chain buyers, assist with category set captain and other key decision makers

• Other projects and duties as assigned

Education/ Experience/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent preferred

• 2+ years' experience working with syndicated data and national account management experience preferred

• Proficiency in extracting and mining data

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Strong technical and analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable plans

• Strong presentation skills

• Developed understanding of the beer category, syndicated data and retail chains

• Ability to travel about 10-20% /overnight

• Clean driving record

Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Bell's and New Belgium's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.

Starting Salary Range: $70,000-$82,000
