Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and empathetic Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing team. This is a fully remote role, providing virtual mental health assessments, diagnosing and treating psychiatric conditions, prescribing medications, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver holistic, patient-centered care. Saturday availability is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive virtual psychiatric evaluations and assessments for clients.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans, prescribe medications, and monitor client progress via telehealth.
  • Collaborate with therapists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care.
  • Provide client education on mental health, treatment options, and coping strategies.
  • Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA standards.
  • Stay informed on advancements in psychiatric care, mental health best practices, and telehealth technology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Nursing with NP specialization.
  • Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Illinois is required.
  • PMHNP certification preferred.
  • Fully independently Licensed.
  • Experience in psychiatric or mental health care, including medication management.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills for virtual client engagement.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience with telemedicine platforms and EHR systems is a plus.
