Lily of the Desert Nutraceuticals, a premier manufacturing facility conveniently located off Corporate Drive in Lewisville, is searching for a Production Supervisor to oversee our 2nd shift manufacturing operations.This permanent full-time position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager or supervisor with a strong background in food /beverage, pharmaceutical or cosmetics manufacturing. The Production Supervisor reports directly to our Director of Manufacturing and will be responsible for production processes on an afternoon/overnight schedule, including:Overall performance of production teamsControl over operating manpower and expendituresAccurate vertical communication throughout departmentEffective interaction with all departments; bi-lingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.Adherence to production schedule including start-ups and changeoversSafety and quality complianceTraining and development in production areasThis position requires a self-starter with an analytical mind and solid computer skills. The successful candidate should be well-versed in Total Quality Management including Root Cause Analysis and will collaborate with planning, purchasing, maintenance and warehouse to ensure production goals are met.REQUIREMENTSBachelor's Degree in business or related field5 yrs. manufacturing/production supervisory experience which includes P & LStrong mechanical/maintenance backgroundPrefer experience in food/beverage or pharma industryComputer literate with proficiency in ExcelMust have ERP experience and familiarity with requirements planning processesAvailability to work 10 or 12 hour afternoon/overnight shiftsAbility to sit, stand and move about the facility, occasionally lift >20 pounds.LODC Group is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer offering a competitive compensation package which includes paid vacation, holidays, paid sick time, medical/dental/vision benefits and a 401(k) program.
