Role Description:

We're seeking a Part-Time Account Coordinator to join our growing team and support our Senior Account Manager in executing our signature Podcast Tours for clients.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, resourceful, organized, and passionate about media, storytelling, and the podcast landscape. You'll play an integral part in researching podcasts, creating custom pitch lists, managing outreach, and supporting the coordination of ongoing campaigns for clients across various industries.

This position begins as a part-time independent contractor with the potential to transition into a full-time W2 employee role as we continue to scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Senior Account Manager in managing and executing client Podcast Tours
  • Research and identify ideal podcasts for clients across categories and niches
  • Build curated pitch lists using our internal systems and industry tools
  • Draft and send personalized podcast pitches to hosts and producers
  • Track outreach, responses, and bookings in organized systems and databases
  • Support client communications, scheduling, and campaign updates as needed
  • Collaborate with the Scout's Agency team to ensure alignment, quality, and creativity across all campaigns
  • Stay up to date on podcast trends, industry news, and media opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Must live in
    San Diego or Orange County, CA
    (remote role with in-person meetups every few weeks)
  • 1–2 years of experience in PR, marketing, communications, or media preferred
  • Exceptional research, writing, and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Self-starter with a proactive, positive attitude and passion for relationship-building
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative, entrepreneurial environment
  • Familiarity with podcasting, PR pitching, or digital media is a strong plus

Compensation:

  • Part-Time Independent Contractor (hourly)
  • Opportunity to grow into a Full-Time Employee role based on performance and company growth
  • Paid in-person team meetups every few weeks for collaboration, creativity, and strategy
