Remote Email Account Strategist

We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Email Marketing Strategist to join our team. This role is a client-facing, hands-on position—responsible for building, managing, and optimizing campaigns for our clients.

This is a remote position with full time hours, although there is some flexibility as to what those hours look like each day.
Responsibilities
Client Account Ownership
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
- Lead onboarding of assigned clients, ensuring clients feel confident and connected from day one.
- Manage client strategy, aligning all deliverables with their goals, brand voice, and KPIs.
- Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates, insights, and recommendations.
- Manage client subscriptions—ensuring accounts are active, tiers are accurate, renewals are processed, and clients are fully supported based on their subscription level.
Creative & Technical Execution
- Build and optimize email flows that are:
- On brand and upscale in design and messaging
- Segmented and personalized for maximum conversion
- Designed to elevate the client's brand experience
- Create and deploy high-quality email campaigns, balancing strategy with polished creative.
- Design graphics and assets (emails, reports, client-facing visuals) with a high-end aesthetic.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor and analyze email performance (open rates, CTR, conversions, RPR).
- Prepare client-facing reports with insights, recommendations, and clear next steps.
- Use analytics to proactively optimize client campaigns.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in email marketing, client account management, or digital strategy (preferably in boutique, ecommerce, or marketing agencies).
- Experience in the retail space, especially boutiques, is strongly preferred but not required.
- Strong graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar).
- Proficiency in email platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar) with expertise in flows, segmentation, and automation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to present data clearly and strategically.
- Excellent communication skills—professional and client-focused.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where excellence is expected.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight, demonstrating initiative and autonomy.
- Self-starter who learns quickly and can self-teach when faced with challenges.
- Ability to follow directions, adhere to established protocols, and maintain consistency in deliverables.
- Skilled at taking client input and turning it into actionable, polished deliverables.
Daily Activities (Initial)
- Build and deploy email flows and campaigns.
- Communicate with clients and provide proactive updates.
- Design graphics and ensure deliverables are polished and on brand.
- Track and manage client subscription statuses, renewals, and service tiers.
- Monitor analytics and make adjustments as needed.
Weekly Activities (Initial)
- Prepare and deliver client performance reports.
- Collaborate with leadership on strategy and next steps.
- Review client subscription renewals and account alignment.
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and email best practices.
Key Performance Indicators
- Client satisfaction and retention.
- Email flows and campaigns delivering measurable results.
- Subscription management accuracy and timeliness.
- Timeliness and quality of deliverables.
