LaSalle Bristol Corporation is recruiting for an outside Territory Manager to be a team member of the company's local branch. The successful candidate will have responsibility for building materials sales and account management concentrated in the Texas, Oklahoma, and Nebraska region.

LaSalle Bristol (LSB) is a leading national distributor based out of Elkhart, Indiana serving the Factory Built Housing and Recreation Vehicle industries. With 1.1 million square feet of warehouse space, we are able to effectively serve our markets by maintaining a large national footprint with 14 facilities strategically located in close proximity to our customers. LSB is uniquely capable of providing just-in-time inventory to our OEM customers, as we are not "just" a distributor. We manufacture plumbing, air-systems, and decorative products in our US manufacturing plants, supplementing our offering with worldwide manufacturing of our brands made to our stringent specifications. The successful applicant will be responsible for representing the Company to deliver sales and provide account management with our current customer base, including:

Essential Duties:

  • Manage designated territory (Northern Texas, Oklahoma, and Nebraska) to service customers including product availability support, cycle counts of specific products, and general sales functions.
  • Grow and develop relationships and customer loyalty to increase market share.
  • Work with customers and potential customers to provide solutions to their production needs of building homes and recreational vehicles.
  • Work closely with LaSalle Bristol's customer service representative, warehouse manager, and product managers in strong team environment to provide a high standard of quality of service to our customers.
  • Requires 20% overnight travel.

Compensation:

Includes salary, commissions, company vehicle, company cell phone, and competitive company benefits package.

Qualifications - the ideal candidates will possess the following:

  • Three years of experience in sales; understanding of home building products, plumbing, HVAC components, or related products would be a plus.
  • Strong account management skills with the ability to develop and build customer relationships while effectively working with LaSalle Bristol product management resource team members.
  • Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office including Outlook email, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret professional reports including internal sales and usage reports, product information, and customer quotes.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from external and internal customers.
  • Must be able to travel throughout the territory, no overnight travel required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • References from former employers and colleagues required.
