Description:The Sustainment Engineer will support the AME sustainment program for the HIMARS and M270 launchers. The role is responsible for integration, logistics coordination, sustainment plan development, and lifecycle support to ensure that delivered systems meet technical, schedule, and affordability requirements. The incumbent will coordinate with program points of contact, and functional groups, providing 24/7 on call support for logistics, calibration, and field operations. Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive sustainment plans and logistics strategies throughout the product
Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, calibrated tool tracking, and material handling per program schedule, ensuring ITAR compliance. Provide regular status reports, data analysis, and performance metrics to program POCs and senior leadership. Prepare technical documentation, briefings, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance sustainment efficiency and cost effectiveness. Perform quarterly inventories.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors or masters degree in Business Management or related discipline
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word)
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
- Ability to interface with a variety of information technology applications to create purchase requirements and to extract data
- Ability to review data and statuses and derive trends
- Ability to prepare and accomplish presentations
- Supply Chain background
- Familiarity with contractual requirements
- Ability to work in a cross-functional IPT environment

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
