Alpha Zeta Enterprises is a premium landscape design and construction company based in Palm City, Florida. We create luxury outdoor living environments for some of the most beautiful properties in Martin County. Our team is growing, and we're seeking a sharp, detail-driven Bookkeeper / Office Administrator who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting and loves bringing organization and clarity to the numbers.
This is not your average bookkeeping job. You'll play a pivotal role in helping us manage our financials, keep the office humming, and support our leadership team with accurate reporting, billing, and organization as we continue to scale.
Key Responsibilities
- QuickBooks Online Management: Handle all daily entries, reconciliations, payables, receivables, and job cost tracking.
- Billing & Invoicing: Prepare and send invoices, manage progress billings, and coordinate with clients for payments.
- Reporting & Spreadsheets: Maintain internal Google Sheets trackers for budgets, payroll %, and job profitability. Assist with weekly and monthly reporting for leadership.
- Payables & Purchasing: Enter vendor bills, match receipts, manage purchase orders, and maintain accurate records.
- General Office Support: Answer phones, greet visitors, manage filing systems, and ensure all paperwork and uploads are properly organized.
- Collaboration: Work directly with the GM to refine systems, improve reporting accuracy, and support operational efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 5+ years in bookkeeping or accounting support (construction industry preferred).
- Software Mastery:
- QuickBooks Online (required – must be proficient and confident)
- Google Sheets / Excel (comfortable with formulas, charts, and summaries)
- Experience with Zoho, Trello, or QuickBooks Class tracking a plus.
- Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organization, accuracy, and follow-through.
- Personality: Self-motivated, dependable, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Communication: Professional phone and email etiquette, positive energy, and the ability to represent our brand well.

Compensation & Schedule
- Competitive pay based on experience
- Monday–Thursday, 4 Day Work Week(on-site)
- Paid holidays and PTO after probationary period
