Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated
Trade Support Analyst
to join a dynamic operations team supporting global equity and fixed income trading. This role demands a detail-oriented professional capable of navigating a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while mitigating the financial risks inherent in complex securities transactions.

The analyst will serve as a crucial liaison between traders, brokers, custodians, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely execution of the full trade lifecycle—from trade confirmation through to settlement. The ideal candidate will possess both strong operational expertise and analytical skills, with the ability to manage data and support continuous improvement efforts.

This position can sit in either: Boston MA, San Francisco CA or Milwaukee WI

Will be required to use your own computer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an intermediary between traders, brokers, custodians, and internal teams to ensure timely trade confirmations and successful settlements across equity and fixed income markets.
  • Manage and resolve inquiries from traders, investment teams, client service, accounting, brokers, custodians, and other third parties.
  • Monitor trade workflows to ensure completeness and accuracy of trade data throughout the lifecycle.
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve trade discrepancies in a timely manner to mitigate financial and operational risk.
  • Leverage strong Excel and project management skills to track existing trade support processes, manage large data sets, and support operational reporting.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies, proposing solutions, and helping to implement changes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support business initiatives and meet regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of relevant industry experience in trade support, operations, or a related financial services role.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and absorb complex information quickly from multiple sources in a high-pressure environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills; ability to manage and prioritize competing demands efficiently.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and handling large data sets.
  • Strong project management skills with the flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with equity and fixed income products.
  • Familiarity with trade matching and settlement platforms (e.g., Omgeo, CTM, or similar).
  • Knowledge of custodian and broker relationships in global markets.
  • Exposure to process automation or transformation initiatives is a plus.
