What You Will Be Doing

  • Develop and execute operational plans to achieve revenue and guest satisfaction targets
  • Forecast financial plans and prepare the annual hotel budget
  • Lead and support hotel associates, promoting a positive team culture
  • Ensure preventive maintenance of property, mechanical and IT systems, guest rooms, public spaces and back-of-house areas
  • Manage loss prevention, safety standards and risk management procedures
  • Participate in Sales and Revenue Management, supporting growth through excellent guest service
  • Represent the hotel and company positively in the community
  • Mentor and manage direct reports, supporting performance and employment practices

What You Won't Be Doing

  • Handling tasks unrelated to hotel operations, such as unrelated corporate administration
  • Managing properties outside of your assigned hotel

Basic Requirements

  • 2+ years experience as a General Manager in a branded hotel property
  • Extensive experience with rooms and F&B operations
  • Working knowledge of hotel operations, including marketing, safety, personnel management, budgeting and maintenance
  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Expertise in standard hotel management systems
  • Hands-on leadership style, able to work directly with associates
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
