Job Description
Position Summary:
McDermott Will & Schulte LLP is hiring a Compliance Analyst in the Firm's Client Intake Services ("CIS") department to assist with the administrative onboarding of new clients and matters, with a focus on compiling and reviewing due diligence questionnaires, client-provided terms regarding artificial intelligence, and client media restrictions.
Job Specifications
- Serving as a key support resource for Compliance Attorneys, ensuring smooth execution of client intake and compliance processes.
- Managing client due diligence requests by completing questionnaires, onboarding forms, and related compliance documentation with accuracy and timeliness.
- Acting as a liaison between the Compliance Attorneys and internal departments to gather, verify, and organize information required for client onboarding.
- Reviewing client engagement terms to identify and document requirements related to artificial intelligence (AI) usage, restrictions, and permissions.
- Monitoring and recording client-specific terms regarding publicity, media, and confidentiality to ensure firm compliance.
- Maintaining well-organized Compliance files and records, ensuring information is current, accessible, and audit-ready.
- Contributing to continuous improvement of intake and compliance processes by identifying efficiencies and recommending best practices.
- Assuming additional responsibilities as may arise in relation to Firm risk requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Motivated and detailed focused
- Familiar with Intapp Open
- Familiar with structure and culture of large international law firms or prior experience at a financial institution or similar setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Able to understand workflows, including the duties of others
- Able to balance risk avoidance and customer service under demanding deadlines\

Target Hiring Range $70,000 - $101,000
Please note that quoted salary ranges are not guarantees of what final salary offers may be. Base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that MWE provides to compensate and recognize our staff professionals for their work. Full time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
