Purpose of Role: The Senior Financial Planning Analyst, reporting to the head of FP&A, is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the FP&A function and ensuring that related activities are in line with company goals and objectives. Responsible for the coordination and preparation of the quarterly forecasting process, annual budgeting process, the timely and accurate reporting of financial data and for providing financial reports required by company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
 

Financial Analysis: Support management with accurate and timely information necessary to make strategic, investment and operating decisions.
Forecasting: Responsible for coordination of quarterly forecasts, strategic plans, departmental expense budgets, together with necessary controls and procedures to effectuate the plan.
Compliance: Ensure organizational compliance with all local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.  Promote affirmative action and equal employment opportunity.
Improvement and Cost Reduction: Participate on cross-functional teams to ensure the continuous, ongoing improvement of processes, methods, productivity and quality, while reducing costs.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in finance or accounting is required
  • CPA is a plus, but not required
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive FP&A Experience
  • Proven analytical and organization skills in supporting a commercial sales group.
  • Prior Experience in SAP or a large ERP system
