Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Public Relations Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our public relations strategies and initiatives that elevate our brand and enhance our reputation within the community and industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for storytelling and a thorough understanding of media relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of public relations strategies and campaigns
  • Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and other communications materials
  • Maintain and update media contact lists and relationships
  • Coordinate and manage public relations events, press conferences, and community outreach programs
  • Monitor media coverage and report on public perceptions of the organization
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather information for communications

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in public relations or communications roles
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of media relations and social media platforms
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and PR management tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
