As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic commercial real estate location. Your presence and attentive customer service will contribute to a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. You will play a key role in supporting a secure atmosphere by remaining visible, communicating clearly, and responding to situations with professionalism. Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions within a commercial real estate environment.
• Document observations and report security-related incidents according to site protocols.
• Work closely with building management, tenants, and visitors to promote a secure and welcoming environment.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Remain alert to changing conditions and report maintenance or hazards identified during patrols.
• Support Allied Universal and client expectations by maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
