Overview
Are you a dynamic sales professional with a passion for building strong client relationships and driving revenue growth? We are seeking an energetic and motivated Territory Sales Manager to lead our business development efforts across designated regions. In this role, you will be the driving force behind expanding our market presence, managing key accounts, and delivering exceptional customer service. Your expertise in outside sales, territory management, and B2B sales will empower you to identify new opportunities, develop strategic plans, and foster long-term partnerships that propel our organization forward. Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive territory sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, lead generation, and networking within assigned regions.
- Manage existing accounts by providing ongoing support, upselling products or services, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical sales presentations to showcase solutions tailored to client needs.
- Build strong relationships with clients by understanding their business challenges and offering customized solutions.
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that increase brand awareness and drive inbound inquiries.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients while maintaining profitability and alignment with company policies.
- Lead territory management efforts by analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to optimize coverage.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior sales team members as needed to foster a high-performance sales environment.
- Prepare detailed reports on sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline status for senior management review.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing client inquiries promptly and resolving issues efficiently.
Experience
- Proven success in outside sales or B2B sales roles with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong management skills with experience overseeing territory operations or regional teams.
- Demonstrated ability in business development, lead generation, cold calling, and direct sales strategies.
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for managing customer relationships and analyzing data.
- Experience in technical or technology sales is highly desirable, along with the ability to deliver product demos effectively.
- Exceptional negotiation skills coupled with a customer-centric approach to account management.
- Knowledge of marketing principles related to retail or B2B markets is a plus.
- Strong analysis skills for assessing market opportunities, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—with the ability to present complex solutions clearly.
- Ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
