Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Sales & Marketing to lead the overall commercial strategy for our hospitality property. This role will be responsible for setting the long-term vision and direction for sales and marketing, driving revenue growth across all segments, and positioning the property as a market leader. The Director will establish strong business partnerships, and ensure the seamless integration of sales, revenue management, and brand strategy with the broader organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and implement the overall sales & marketing strategy in alignment with the company's financial and brand objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the sales & marketing team, setting clear goals and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate closely with general manager, ownership, revenue management, and operations to ensure consistent achievement of revenue and profitability targets.
  • Establish annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans for the department.

Sales & Business Development

  • Drive revenue growth by leading business development initiatives across corporate, leisure, groups, and travel trade segments.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with key accounts, travel agencies, DMCs, OTAs, and other distribution channels.
  • Oversee high-level negotiations, key contracts, and account management for top-tier clients.
  • Represent the property at major trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities, both nationally and internationally.

Marketing & Brand Management

  • Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive marketing campaigns to strengthen brand positioning and awareness.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all communication platforms and guest touchpoints.
  • Direct the digital marketing strategy, including performance marketing, content creation, and social media engagement.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and consumer behavior to identify new opportunities.

Revenue & Performance Management

  • Work closely with the Revenue Manager to align sales, distribution, and pricing strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure effectiveness of strategies and campaigns.
  • Provide regular performance updates and business insights to senior leadership and ownership.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in hotel sales & marketing, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and leading high-performing teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • Deep understanding of revenue management, digital marketing, and hospitality distribution channels.
  • Ability to build strategic relationships with stakeholders, partners, and high-profile clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65, $80,000.00 per year
