Location: Amherst, NY

The salary range for this position is between $85,000-$125,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications and location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process.

We are seeing a motivated and Manager of Accounting & Treasury to join a dynamic and collaborative team. This role is essential in Managing Ivoclar's Accounts Payable department and provide management with accurate financial information to be used in decision making. In addition, this role is responsible to produce accurate financial reporting based by maintaining data within the general ledger. This will include recording required journal entries, reconciliation of accounts and creation of monthly reporting forms.

Essential Functions:

Management (with people reporting responsibilities)

• Create and maintain a safe, secure, diverse, inclusive, engaged and compliant work environment that empowers employees to achieve departmental and company results
• Adhere to the corporate code of conduct
• Plan, organize and maintain department control in support of executing corporate and departmental business objectives that ensures productivity, goal achievement, budget and forecast adherence and allows for effective and efficient operations
• Recruit, select, onboard, and train new employees
• Lead and execute performance management activities to include DIALOG and performance improvement plans that support employee development
• Commit and foster adherence to the company's quality management system and timely execution of tasks assigned within it
• Work together with fellow managers in a professional, respective and collaborative manner

Position Responsibilities:

• Prepare consolidated monthly Financial Statements (FI), including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, and all other required reporting forms for IV North America, Inc.
• Compile and enter US and Canada monthly journal entries into SAP
• Perform reconciliations of certain General Ledger accounts for month end and close
• Complete and manage all governmental reporting required by each entity
• Assist in annual audit process
• Prepare monthly re-bills of intercompany transactions and process invoices and initiate intercompany payments
• Perform intercompany confirmations with affiliated entities and investigate any discrepancies
• Assist in all insurance related matters: billing, claims, renewal and account reconciliations
• Manage the AP team and give direction, initiatives, constructive feedback, and promote efficiencies.
• Reconciliations of cash for IVNA entities
• Administration of daily cash activities including approving wire transfers, ACH payments and receipts, approvals of positive pay activities.
• Ad-hoc projects as assigned by the manager.
• Function as SAP Power User for accounting and financial reporting processes

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Experience in an accounting environment, or equivalent combination of education & experience
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel required
• SAP experience a plus

Physical Demands:

• Ability to sit up to 8 hours per day, view a computer monitor and move about effectively to fulfill the essential functions of the job
• Manual dexterity needed for alpha/numerical computer input
