Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Automotive Sales BDC (Business Development Center) professional to join our team. This role is essential in driving sales and enhancing customer engagement within our dealership. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for the automotive industry. You will be responsible for managing leads, nurturing customer relationships, and supporting the sales team to achieve their goals.
Duties
- Engage with potential customers through outbound calls and follow-up communications to generate interest in our automotive offerings.
- Utilize CRM software to manage the sales pipeline effectively and track customer interactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and guiding customers through the sales process.
- Conduct cold calling and outreach efforts to expand our customer base and promote dealership services.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for upselling and cross-selling high-end vehicles.
- Maintain accurate inventory control and assist in inventory management to ensure product availability.
- Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales data and support decision-making processes.
- Participate in public speaking engagements or presentations as needed to promote dealership events or initiatives.
- Foster strong relationships with customers through effective communication and follow-up.
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably within the automotive or retail industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with a focus on closing deals effectively.
- Familiarity with B2B sales processes and techniques.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
- Experience in high-end sales environments is advantageous.
- Proficiency in CRM software for managing customer relationships and tracking sales activities.
- Knowledge of automobile sales practices, including upselling techniques and inventory management.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for engaging with customers professionally.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
