Summary
We are seeking a Sales Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. The Sales Support Specialist provides administrative and operational support to the Sales Department to ensure smooth coordination of daily activities. This position plays a key role in assisting with customer communication, order processing, and maintaining accurate sales data. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Functions:
· Client Relationship- Serve as the initial point of contact for sales calls and new leads. Assist in building strong, long-term relationships with customers. Provide post-sale support to ensure satisfaction and filter customer concerns.
· Customer Support- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a timely and professional manner. Provide product information, availability, lead times, and pricing. Resolve customer issues in collaboration with sales, logistics, or support teams.
· Sales Support- Record via Excel or alternative programs, sales activities, customer inquiries and lead opportunities. Provide updated information to the Director of Sales.
· Cross-Functional Coordination- Collaborate with production teams to meet client specifications. Coordinate with logistics and customer service to ensure on-time delivery. Support the execution of marketing or sales campaigns as needed. Provide client feedback to the Director of Sales.
· Industry & Product Expertise- Stay informed on company products, services, and production capabilities.
· Problem Solving & Issue Resolution- Address customer concerns, delivery issues, or quality complaints in a timely manner. Coordinate with internal teams to implement corrective actions and ensure client satisfaction.
· Perform additional duties assigned by supervisor or other member of the management team.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a sales support, customer service, or administrative capacity, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative team player who is detail oriented, possess strong organizational & time management skills with excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
· Minimum 2 years' experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative role.
· WMS (Sage, Manhattan, Oracle, etc.) experience required.
· Must have experience with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and related computer skills.
Physical Demands:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times (e.g., presentation materials, product samples).
· Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate office equipment, including computers, phones, and presentation tools.
· Ability to travel domestically & internationally as required (air, train, or car travel).
· Occasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching may be required during meetings and presentations.
