Live Chat Customer Support Representative
to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will enjoy helping others, solving problems efficiently, and representing our company with professionalism and care through online communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via live chat, email, and messaging platforms.
  • Provide accurate information about products, services, and policies.
  • Assist customers in troubleshooting issues and resolving complaints in a timely manner.
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor when necessary.
  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
  • Keep detailed and organized records of customer interactions and feedback.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and suggest solutions.
  • Meet or exceed daily performance metrics (response time, resolution rate, satisfaction scores, etc.).
  • Stay up to date on product knowledge, updates, and company policies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • Proven experience in customer service, preferably in live chat or online support.
  • Excellent written communication skills with proper grammar and tone.
  • Strong multitasking abilities — able to manage multiple chat sessions at once.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new software, tools, and systems quickly.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with live chat platforms such as Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk, or LiveChat.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and ticketing tools.
  • Experience working in e-commerce, SaaS, or customer-focused industries.
  • Typing speed of 40+ WPM.
  • Previous remote work experience is a plus.
