Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer with exceptional communication and executive writing skills to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to document complex business processes, including software development lifecycles and technology integrations. Your deliverables will be reviewed by executive leadership, including the CEO and Board of Directors, so clarity, precision, and polish are critical.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, operations, product, and executive leadership) to gather and validate business process information
Create and maintain clear, accurate, and comprehensive documentation for:
Software development lifecycle (SDLC)
End-to-end business workflows
Technical integration points across business functions
Translate technical and operational information into accessible, executive-level documents
Design and structure documents for both technical and non-technical audiences, including C-suite and board members
Organize content in a user-friendly and visually engaging way, using appropriate formatting, charts, and diagrams when necessary
Ensure documentation is consistent with company branding, tone, and quality standards
Manage version control and ensure documentation remains current as processes evolve
Required Qualifications
Proven experience (5+ years) as a technical writer, preferably in tech, SaaS, or consulting environments
Demonstrated ability to write executive-facing content, reports, and summaries
Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with attention to detail
Ability to quickly learn and document complex systems and processes
Experience collaborating with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders
Strong project management and organizational skills
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or related field

Version Control/Developer Familiarity (a plus):
GitHub, GitLab, Markdown, Swagger/OpenAPI (if documenting APIs)
Presentation Tools:
PowerPoint, Google Slides (for CEO/Board-level briefings)
