The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Dataverse), along with experience integrating external services and systems. This role involves end-to-end development, implementation, and ongoing support within a collaborative Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Dataverse.
  • Create Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and Power Pages using Dataverse, SharePoint, or other backend data sources.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with external systems using connectors and APIs.
  • Support the development and enhancement of the Invoice Tracking System (ITS).
  • Implement Power Automate Cloud Flows, Desktop Flows, and Business Process Flows.
  • Extend Power Platform solutions using JavaScript, custom plug-ins, and Power FX.
  • Apply best practices for security, performance, and scalability in Power Platform solutions.
  • Collaborate with business users, analysts, and developers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Mentor and support junior developers in Power Platform technologies.
  • Participate in Agile sprint planning and follow software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8 years
    of experience working in Software as a Service (SaaS) or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments.
  • 4 years
    of hands-on development experience with the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • 4 years
    of experience with Power Apps, Power Pages, Connectors, and Power Automate.
  • 2 years
    of experience designing and developing Power Pages, Canvas Apps, and Model-Driven Apps using Dataverse, SharePoint, or other backend systems.
  • 2 years
    of experience in team collaboration across functional and technical teams.
  • 2 years
    of experience mentoring or training others in Power Platform technologies.
  • 2 years
    of experience working in Agile environments with sprint planning.
  • 2 years
    of strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • 1 year
    of experience with Power Automate Cloud Flows, Desktop Flows, and Process Advisor.
  • 1 year
    of experience using JavaScript, creating custom plug-ins, and working with Dataverse tables.
  • 1 year
    of experience with Power BI, connectors, and external system integrations.
  • 1 year
    of knowledge in Power Platform best practices and the Center of Excellence (CoE) Admin Center.
  • 1 year
    of experience working with State of Texas agencies or on healthcare/public health projects (preferred).
  • 1 year
    of experience with Power Virtual Agents and Power Apps Portals (preferred).
