We are seeking an accomplished Program Manager to lead business capture and strategic growth initiatives for our expanding defense and aerospace power electronics company. Reporting directly to the President, this role will head our Sales department and drive outbound business development efforts as we scale our operations and launch innovative new products.

Primary Responsibilities

Business Development & Capture

Lead outbound sales efforts targeting prime government contractors in the defense and aerospace sectors

Develop and execute strategies to expand market presence and grow awareness of new product launches

Own the complete sales funnel from lead generation through RFQ response to order capture

Configure and optimize Salesforce CRM to support business development objectives and pipeline visibility

Account Growth & Management

Focus on strategic expansion of existing customer accounts and revenue growth

Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at prime contractor organizations

Ensure customer satisfaction and address any strategic account needs

Provide accurate sales forecasting to support procurement, planning, and operations teams

Cross-Functional Leadership

Collaborate directly with engineering and design teams on technical solutions and proposals

Partner with department heads across the organization to align on business objectives

Lead one direct report responsible for order facilitation and interdepartmental coordination

Present strategic updates and capture plans to executive leadership

Required Qualifications

Proven track record in business development and program capture within defense/aerospace industry

Strong understanding of power electronics systems and applications

Experience selling to prime government contractors and navigating complex procurement processes

Demonstrated success managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract award

Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred)

Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive-level engagement

Preferred Qualifications

Existing relationships within the defense and aerospace supply chain

Background in technical sales or engineering roles

Experience launching new products in regulated industries

Familiarity with government contracting processes and compliance requirements
