We are seeking a strategic, collaborative Senior Manager to drive new marketing strategies and assess their impact on business results. This role is crucial in refining marketing approaches while providing clear performance insights to aid strategic decision-making.

5 month contract

4 days onsite in Burbank

Pay: $60-65hr

Marketing/Media strategy background in entertainment or streaming is required

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver and strategic thinker with extensive experience in marketing strategy, program management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Marketing leadership to develop the comprehensive FY26 strategy, streamlining priorities and driving measurable impact across the portfolio.
  • Improve the Marketing prioritization framework to simplify processes, enhance campaign tiering, and focus efforts on the highest-impact initiatives.
  • Enhance cross-platform measurement by standardizing methodologies, establishing consistent benchmarks, and promoting performance transparency among partners.
  • Maintain and advance key planning tools such as MMM and Airtable to support scenario modeling, forecasting, and investment decisions.
  • Work closely with channel owners to reveal tactical performance insights, identify optimization opportunities, and guide strategic adjustments, sharing findings regularly with Marketing leadership.
  • Conduct reporting audits to clarify leadership expectations and ensure consistency in performance measurement and storytelling.
  • Prepare monthly executive updates highlighting business objectives and cross-platform performance insights to align strategic efforts.
  • Align campaign briefing processes across teams to improve operational efficiency and collaboration.
  • Develop and enhance team-wide frameworks that scale across workstreams, improving prioritization, briefing, and measurement, while integrating cross-product impact and opportunity analyses into ongoing planning.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing strategy, media strategy, operations, consulting, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Expertise in database and planning tools like Airtable.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and influencing without direct authority.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in streaming or entertainment sectors, especially within complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Background in building and scaling marketing operations or strategy functions.
  • Experience with executive reporting and crafting strategic narratives for leadership audiences.
  • Deep understanding of workflows between creative, media, strategy, and data science teams.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and evolving business needs.
