The Role:-

This is a full-time on-site role for a QA Lead in Houston, TX. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for at least 4 days a week. As outlined in ImpactQA's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods, depending on business needs.

The Test Lead collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive testing strategy, develop test plans to improve quality of the product. The role requires experience and proficiency with testing technologies like TOSCA, Loadrunner, good knpowlege of SAP S/4 Hana, QA concepts including security testing and agile methodologies.

Responsibilities:-

· Create and execute thorough project plans that take into account the needs of the business, deadlines, and available resources while managing the testing strategy for SAP S/4HANA implementations.

· Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in alignment with project implementation plans.

· Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

· Lead cross-functional teams, including SAP testers & functional consultants, developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.

· Foster collaboration and effective communication to ensure a unified approach to project delivery.

· Share timely updates to stakeholders on project progress, milestones, and potential risks.

· Allocate and manage project resources effectively, ensuring team members have the necessary skills and support to meet project objectives.

· Monitor and adjust resource allocation as needed throughout the project lifecycle.

· Manage defect dashboards and govern reports for timely remediation

· Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to proactively address challenges.

· Strong working knowledge of navigating testing tools like Tricentis Tosca, OpenText LoadRunner, and test management tools like qTest etc.

· Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure a smooth implementation, including training and communication plans.

· Develop comprehensive test strategies for SAP engagements, considering business requirements, system architecture, and project timelines.

• Define test objectives, scope, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with project goals
• Create detailed test plans, including test scenarios, test cases, and test data, for SAP projects.
• Execute test cases and ensure thorough testing coverage across various business-critical SAP modules and workstreams
• Conduct and oversee system, functional, integration, regression, and performance testing activities
• Implement a robust defect tracking and management process, ensuring timely identification, documentation, and resolution of issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to provide comprehensive information for debugging and fixing defects
• Evaluate and implement test automation strategies to improve testing efficiency and coverage

Qualifications:-

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 6-10 years of proven experience in Software Testing.
• Over 3+ years of experience in leading large QA teams and projects (at least 2 SAP S4 Hana projects).
• Must have knowledge of SAP S4 Hana and the SAP landscape.
• Great communication skills, both oral and written and keen on establishing relationships to influence positive outcomes.
• Certifications in security, such as the Tosca, MicroFoucs, or Loadrunner, are a plus.
• Experience in the O&G industry is a plus.
