Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that food and beverages are delivered promptly and accurately to guests, enhancing their dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong focus on customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.

Duties

  • Deliver food from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
  • Assist servers by clearing tables.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables after guests leave.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
  • Monitor food safety standards during service, ensuring that all dishes are served at the appropriate temperatures.
  • Assist in food preparation as needed.
  • Provide exceptional guest services by responding promptly to inquiries or requests from customers.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, with a strong understanding of food handling practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
