Overview

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Dishwasher/Busser, where your energy and attention to detail will help create a seamless dining experience for our guests. In this vital role, you'll ensure the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas, support our culinary team with food preparation and bussing duties, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, catering, and hospitality while working in a fast-paced environment that values teamwork and enthusiasm.

Duties

  • Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans to maintain cleanliness standards throughout service hours
  • Clear and reset tables promptly after guests leave, ensuring a tidy and inviting dining space
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping, plating support, and ingredient organization
  • Support catering events and banquet setups by transporting dishes, utensils, and supplies
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas by sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
  • Help with stock replenishment by organizing supplies in storage areas and notifying management of low inventory levels
  • Follow food handling safety protocols to ensure hygiene standards are met at all times
  • Collaborate with servers and culinary staff to deliver excellent service experiences for guests

Requirements

  • Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key
  • Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy trays or moving supplies
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude; willingness to assist wherever needed in the restaurant or catering operations
  • Experience with bussing tables or supporting banquet events is a plus but not required
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting
