The Role

SpayVac for Wildlife Inc. is hiring a Fractional Director of Operations—a part-time contractor who ensures strategic imperatives are executed on time. You'll translate our goals into structured action, coordinating budgets, contracts, and partner/collaborator management or vendor management while keeping everyone aligned and accountable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain project timelines with clear owners and due dates
  • Track budgets in real time and coordinate corrective actions when needed
  • Manage contracts, purchasing, and vendor onboarding
  • Keep leadership synchronized with concise weekly updates and monthly On-Time/On-Budget reports, track to-do's and measure our progress toward quarterly and annual rocks
  • Maintain accurate digital records for invoices, contracts, and compliance filings
  • Actively use our internal tracking system to generate live progress dashboards

What Success Looks Like

  • 90% of milestones delivered on or before deadline
  • Weekly and monthly reports delivered on schedule
  • Keep the record of truth update to date on where we stand on execution of strategic development

This role reports directly to the CEO and provides operational summaries to the Chair and Board.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in biotech, animal health, or regulated environments
  • Familiarity with project-tracking platforms or live dashboards
  • Prior experience in fractional or operations leadership roles

Engagement Details

  • Status: Fractional / Independent Contractor
  • Hours: 10–20 per week (variable with project activity)
  • Duration: Six-month renewable contract
  • Compensation: Hourly or retainer, tied to deliverable completion
  • Reporting: Directly to CEO
