Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, correct and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training and evaluating team members to foster a motivated and high-performing workforce.
• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient shift management and excellent guest service
• Manage food handling procedures to uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations
• Coordinate food and alcohol production processes, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining proper stock levels.
• Maintaining accountability for cash register operations
• Implement staff training programs focused on food safety, elevating customer service excellence, and operational procedures
• Monitor restaurant performance metrics to optimize productivity, reduce waste, and control costs through effective budgeting and resource management
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere by resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally
• Conduct regular staff meetings (monthly) to communicate goals, provide feedback, and promote a positive team environment
• Support catering events or banquet services as needed to diversify revenue streams

Requirements

• Proven management experience in full service restaurants or casual dining environments with a strong background in food service management
• Experience with POS systems for order processing and sales tracking
• Demonstrated ability in inventory control, budgeting, and cost management within a restaurant setting
• Strong leadership skills with experience supervising teams, conducting interviews, training staff, and developing talent. Coaching and developing staff is very important.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns diplomatically
• Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience managing shifts efficiently in high-volume environments
• Knowledge of bar operations.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work 50 hours per week and 12 hour days if necessary.
• Conduct local marketing outreach to hotels and local businesses to drive brand awareness.
• Conduct monthly performance evaluations with staff to ensure service standards and consistency.
• Proactively pursue event and catering opportunities and develop proficiency with related platforms.

Pay: $66, $80,340.73 per year
