Position Details:
- Job Type: Temporary with Benefits
- Salary: $ $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Locations: Multiple Health Centers across Philadelphia, PA
- Working Hours: Shift times vary between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, depending on the location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense prescriptions accurately under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
- Manage medication inventory, including packaging, labeling, and organization.
- Perform administrative tasks such as record-keeping and processing patient profiles.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality and professionalism.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certification: Active Pharmacy Technician Certification from PTCB or ICPT.
- Experience: Minimum of one year in a pharmacy technician role.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices, medication management, and drug interactions.
- Proficiency in mathematics and computer applications relevant to the role.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills (fluency in English required).
Physical/Medical Requirements:
Applicants must meet the physical and medical standards required for pharmacy technician duties.
