Description:

The
Director / Sr. Director – AI Services
will lead strategy, delivery, and innovation across Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, and Machine Learning (ML) service lines. The role requires a seasoned leader with deep understanding of enterprise AI transformation, client solutioning, and scalable delivery frameworks. The incumbent will work closely with global business, digital, and engineering teams to design and implement AI-led solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive the AI services vision and roadmap for enterprise clients.
  • Partner with global leadership to identify AI-led growth opportunities and shape go-to-market strategies.
  • Build and scale AI Centers of Excellence (CoEs) in India.
  • Engage with CXOs and senior stakeholders to understand business problems and translate them into AI-driven solutions.
  • Lead pre-sales, RFP responses, and proposal creation for AI/ML and GenAI initiatives.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to clients on AI adoption and data transformation journeys.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams (Data Scientists, MLOps Engineers, AI Architects) for end-to-end delivery of AI projects.
  • Ensure governance, quality, and on-time delivery across engagements.
  • Drive reusable assets, accelerators, and frameworks for faster solution deployment.
  • Foster innovation by integrating emerging AI technologies (LLMs, RAG, multimodal AI, automation, etc.).
  • Collaborate with cloud hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, GCP) and AI partners to enhance capabilities.
  • Promote internal upskilling and thought leadership through whitepapers, case studies, and client showcases.
  • Build and mentor high-performing AI teams in India.
  • Develop talent strategy aligned with business growth and emerging tech skills.
  • Drive a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Desired Profile:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field.
  • 15–20+ years of IT experience with 8+ years in AI/ML leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling AI practices and delivery teams.
  • Strong experience in enterprise AI solutioning and program delivery across Life Sciences industries
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Generative AI (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
  • ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
  • Cloud AI platforms (AWS Sagemaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex AI)
  • Data & MLOps pipelines, Prompt Engineering, LLM Fine-tuning
  • Soft Skills:
    Excellent client communication, stakeholder management, strategic thinking, and executive presence.
  • Experience in setting up AI/ML Centers of Excellence or delivery units.
  • Exposure to revenue ownership or P&L management.
  • Thought leadership through publications, conferences, or patents.
  • Global exposure working with US/EU-based clients.
