Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care is looking to add a Bilingual Medical Assistant to our growing team. This position is ideal for a motivated individual who enjoys working with kids. Our MA job positions allow for flexible schedules as well as education and training opportunities.  

What You Need (Qualifications):

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be a graduate from an Accredited Medical Assistant Program, or Certified Medical Assistant with relevant work experience required
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • American Heart Association BLS certification required prior to start date
  • Enjoys working with children
  • Bilingual (Spanish) Preferred
  • We use E-Verify

The Perks (Benefits):

  • Salary: $17- $19 depending on experience
  • Overtime pay available

The Nitty Gritty (Day To Day):

  • Work with your team members to provide excellent medical care to our patients
  • Comfort sick or injured children and their nervous parents
  • Triage children and gather relevant medical history
  • Administer medications as directed by a provider
  • Perform point of care testing as directed
  • Assist providers during exam and procedures
  • Perform x-ray positioning as directed
  • Document visit in EHR

When We Operate (Schedule): 
  • 12, 10 and 8 hour shifts available 
  • Rotating Weekends 
  • Clinic Hours are as follows: Mon – Fri: 9:00 am – 8:30 pm 
  • Sat-Sun: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm 
  • Opportunity to travel to other clinics as needed
