BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Possess general marketing knowledge for creating and implementing communication programs presented to referring physicians that effectively describe and promote the radiology services offered at the company's outpatient facilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential functions are critical or fundamental to the performance of the job. They are the major functions for which the person in the job is held accountable. The following are the essential functions of the job.
Duties:
- Travel to referring physician offices throughout Las Vegas and Pahrump to assist in generating increased business by building positive relationships with office staff at referring physician offices. The Company expects this position to market and document 10-20 referring physician offices per day.
- Schedule, organize and attend marketing functions to promote positive company image and position within the community.
- Schedule in service luncheons with referring physicians and to promote new business for the company. Documentation of signatures at luncheons will be mandatory.
- Research, develop and maintain the advertising material for publication of services and order promotional material to present to referring doctors and potential clientele at various health fairs and public events.
- Provide post-event reports, analysis and regular status reports on marketing programs and progress. Post-status report on luncheons will be expected and documentation required.
- Plan coordination and execution of promotional activities including print, electronic media, trade show, direct mail, point-of-purchase displays, and signage.
- Coordinate and install Web-Ambassador for referring physician access and handles all HIPAA regulatory requirements for the access.
- Train and support peers and new team members, sharing knowledge, demonstrating best practices, and ensuring consistency in processes across the department.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Two years previous marketing experience in a physician-based setting.
- Must possess exceptional oral and written communication skills and excel in building positive public relations.
- Must possess a valid driver's license, valid auto insurance and reliable transportation.
- Ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English is essential. Multi-lingual abilities are preferred.
- Requires strict self-direction to accomplish company goals with minimal supervision.
- Must possess tact and diplomacy and present in a courteous and professional manner when dealing with the public, staff, doctors, and direct report.
- Must travel to hospitals, outpatient facilities and referring doctors in the Las Vegas area to perform marketing objectives.

Physical Demands:
- Standing - This position frequently requires standing while communicating with affiliated personnel and doctor offices to carry out job duties.
- Walking - This position frequently requires walking short distances of up to 100 yards to communicate with referring physician staff, doctors, direct report, and co-workers.
- Sitting - This position consistently requires sitting for a majority of the day while driving and working on the computer to complete essential job duties.
- Lifting - This position frequently requires lifting advertising material weighing up to 15 lbs.
- Carrying - This position frequently requires carrying objects weighing up to 15 lbs. for short distances to carry out essential job related duties.

- Pulling - This position frequently requires pulling a portable device (briefcase on wheels) filled with promotional materials to distribute to referring physician offices.
- Reaching - This position occasionally requires reaching with hands and arms less than 2 feet in all directions for items necessary to complete job duties (i.e. stapler, paper clips, phone, keyboard, supplies)
- Handing - This position frequently requires handing papers and advertising materials to office staff, doctors and affiliated personnel to carry out essential job duties.

- Seeing - This position consistently requires acute visual abilities for driving to physician offices or affiliated locations, viewing marketing related documents and correspondence, overseeing all facets of the Web Ambassador and other job related paperwork to carry out essential job duties.

Explanation: This position is minimally monitored by the Director of Office Operations and Marketing.

Does this position have access to confidential information? Yes
Explanation: This position has access to confidential information such as social security numbers, dates of birth, and HIPAA information for all patients of PMI via the Web Ambassador and referral documentation.
Does this position have access to or handle company funds? Yes
Explanation: This position has access to a company credit card issued for marketing expenses.
Is it important to this position the incumbent be able to read, write, understand and communicate fluently in English? Yes

What kind of work experience (including length of time), training, and/or level of education is necessary for this position? The Account Manager must possess skills and abilities to perform each essential job duty proficiently. This position requires a minimum of two to three years previous marketing experience in a physician based setting with familiarity to an outpatient facility/hospital environment. This position must be able to read, write and interpret reports and correspondence in English. This position requires excellent oral and written communication skills needed for daily communication with referring physician staff, vendors, doctors, direct report and outpatient facility staff. Bilingual abilities are preferred.
Working Conditions
Are there particular working conditions associated with this position that should be noted? Yes
Explanation: This position requires extensive travel for a majority of the work day. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
This position often requires long hours of work when necessary to meet commitments. Hours of work are generally 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. You should be at your first office or appointment by 8:30 am. Your last appointment should be scheduled no later than 4:30 p.m. This position requires you to attend 1-2 after hour work functions per week. You are required to be at these after hour functions for a majority of the time the function is scheduled.
As part of your job, you are required to leave your company phone on at all times. You are not to turn off your phone for any reason. If in a meeting, please turn your phone to vibrate so that a message can be left.
