Job Details

Full Time

Every Other Weekend and then the schedule rotates being Monday through Wednesday one week and Thursday and Friday the Opposite

Hours| 8pm-7am

CBRF Certified (Standard Precautions / First Aid / Fire Safety / Medication Administration)

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for answering telephone and greeting and directing visitors. Also responsible for assisting in the activities of the administrative office. This position will also support our residents as a Resident Assistant. This dual-role is essential in ensuring our community runs smoothly while providing exceptional service and care to our residents, families and visitors. This position is accountable to the Campus Administrator.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Establish and enhance all impressions and encounters with residents, family members, and visitors.
  • Maintain and actively promote effective communication with residents and family members/personal representatives.
  • Responsible for maintaining a positive image of Marquardt in the community keeping in alignment with our mission, vision, and values.
  • Greet and direct visitors, answer telephone and direct calls to the appropriate person
  • Assist with employee and resident cash transactions.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare bulk outgoing mail.
  • Endorse all checks and prepare bank deposits.
  • Manage campus phone lines and phone listings as well as other resident directory information.
  • Distribute resident status forms and on-call lists.
  • Collect and maintain admission documentation
  • Manage copy and mail machine repairs, order toner and office supplies.
  • Perform typing and other clerical duties for the administrative staff.
  • Maintain and destroy office records according to records retention policy.
  • Perform other similar duties, as needed.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Commitment to quality programs and services for all residents and patients.
  • Upbeat and personable communicator with strong customer service skills
  • Ability to relate well to the residents/patients, families, staff and the community in general.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other members of the team
  • Ability to maintain and protect the confidentiality of information.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decsions.
  • Tolerance of interruptions and ability to be flexible with daily routine

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

  • High School diploma
  • 2-3 years experience in a customer service role
  • Word processing and spreadsheet knowledge.
  • Typing and filing abilities.
  • CBRF Credentials
