Job Summary:

Human Resources Business Partner III is responsible for providing comprehensive, proactive, and strategic Human Resources (HR) services for assigned functional area(s) of CareSource including (at a minimum) staffing needs, policy development and implementation, performance management, leadership development, workforce development planning, onboarding, HR metrics, and legal compliance.

Essential Functions:

  • Identify and understand the department's role within CareSource, who they interact with and their Business Plan Goals
  • Monitor internal and external changes in law, policies, and practices to define and confront risk to employees and the business
  • Primary point of contact for the business to ensure optimal work environment, serve as advocate for all employees, and enable support for leadership development and succession planning
  • Based on the department's role and goals:
  • Influence leadership in establishing clear standards for excellent performance (job descriptions, competencies, expectations, 90-day evaluation, performance evaluations)
  • Analyze information/trends from various sources such as engagement surveys, exit interviews, feedback from employees, etc. and make recommendations and courses of action for improvement
  • Build strong, trusting and transparent relationships with employees and leadership to deliver goals
  • Analyze and influence department dynamics and make recommendations that would maximize effectiveness
  • Act as a bridge to other areas of HR (Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Payroll, and Compensation) to be a liaison between Leadership, Employees and HR
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand, resolve and remove barriers that impact a department or employee from being able to perform at their best
  • Actively participate within the department and with department's leadership team
  • Actively promote cross-department collaboration and information sharing within your own team and the organization
  • Perform any other job duties as requested

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, leadership or a related field or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
  • Master's degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field is preferred
  • Five to seven (5-7) years of HR Generalist experience with three to five (3-5) years of experience dealing with a variety of complex employee relations issues at multiple levels within the organization is required
  • Leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with HR support of clinical teams and/or MCO experience is highly preferred
  • Residency near the state of Massachusetts is preferred

Licensure and Certification:

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) / Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) OR Strategic Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) certification is preferred

Working Conditions:

  • General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time

Compensation Range:

$81, $130,200.00

CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate's education, training, and experience as well as the position's scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
