Job Description

Shop Coordinator act as the main point of contact for customer and internal teams, providing quotes and status updates. This position involves scheduling and coordinating with various departments like sales, technicians, and purchasing to manage repair jobs from intake to completion, ensuring deadlines are met, parts are available, and customer communication is maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed inspection reports and provide professional quotations to customers.
  • Create and manage production schedules for pump repair projects.
  • Track work orders, job statuses, and customer-supplied parts.
  • Coordinate with the shop technicians to ensure jobs are completed per scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Ensure repairs meet quality and performance standards by coordinating with quality and engineering teams.
  • Oversee documentation for critical fits and measurements during repair.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with pumps, mechanical equipment, and associated tools.
  • Proficiency with office software like Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen; Must pass a drug test
