Summary

As a key member of the Quality Team, the Senior Quality DC Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining high standards of quality and compliance across documentation. This role is integral to achieving Stellar Energy's goals and objectives, overseeing the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure ISO compliance. The Senior Quality DC Specialist will collaborate with various departments to ensure documentation accuracy, compliance with industry standards, and alignment with client requirements. Additionally, the Specialist will provide quality support during design, procurement, and fabrication phases, ensuring that all documentation meets project delivery goals.

Essential Functions

  • Manages and maintains the Quality Management System (QMS) documents via T: Drive & Procore.
  • Manages and maintains Quality folders within Jobs folders via company T: Drive and Procore.
  • Print and distribute documents as needed.
  • Scan and upload documents according to company procedure and customer contract.
  • Collect and register all technical documents such as drawings and blueprints in the company's Quality system.
  • Review and update documents for maintenance and quality control.
  • Keep other personnel updated on new document versions and how to obtain access via Procore.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive documents.
  • Establish and maintain record retention timelines.
  • Develop and improve the controlled document process to ensure higher-quality goods.
  • Ensuring legal obligations are followed and ensuring compliance with regulatory, with health and safety guidelines.
  • Overseeing product development procedures to identify any deviations from quality standards.
  • Manages Quality documents submittals for client submission, review, and managing documents related to projects via client portal.
  • Compile feedback from the clients (ex: attending meetings, submitting reports, and assisting internal, external auditors and inspectors).
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation for audits.
  • Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring work activities, such as preparation of records of statistical analysis, progress reports, etc., to inform management of status or work activities.
  • Analyzes and resolves quality challenges or assists employees in solving quality challenges.
  • Interprets/enforces company Quality Policy, process, and procedures to employees.
  • Training staff on document control procedures and process.
  • Support project teams with document management needs.
  • Prepares for ISO 9001 and other audits.

Work Environment

This job generally operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at fabrication shops and job sites. Job safety needs to be considered the top priority at all times.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
 This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This position may require occasional evening or weekend work.

Required Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial QA/QC document control working experience.
  • Knowledge of quality system, process control, and control tool, etc.
  • Knowledge with selection and technical requirement of general mechanical equipment including pumps, chillers, cooling towers, heat exchangers, etc.
  • ISO Certified
  • Procore Certified

Travel

As needed.
