Job Title: Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Developer

Location: 100% Remote (U.S. based)

Duration: 5 months (possibility of extension)

Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

Our Fortune 500 life sciences client is seeking an experienced Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Developer to join their digital transformation team. The consultant will design and implement integrations between Oracle Cloud applications and enterprise platforms, with a particular emphasis on Salesforce-to-Oracle integration.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional business and IT teams to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing integration solutions across finance, operations, and customer engagement systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), leveraging REST, SOAP, file-based, and database adapters.
  • Build and optimize integrations between Salesforce and Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM systems.
  • Work closely with solution architects, Oracle functional leads, and Salesforce administrators to define technical requirements.
  • Create mappings, transformations (XML, JSON, XSLT, XSD), and orchestration flows within OIC.
  • Ensure integrations meet enterprise standards for security, performance, and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing integration flows, providing production support as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation and conduct code reviews.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning for integration projects.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in IT integration development.
  • 3+ years hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Proven expertise in Salesforce-to-Oracle integrations (REST APIs, middleware).
  • Strong knowledge of integration design patterns, transformations, and error handling.
  • Experience working with Oracle SaaS applications (ERP, HCM, SCM).
  • Familiarity with API gateways, OAuth, and security best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Preferred Skills

  • Oracle Integration Cloud certification.
  • Experience with Oracle Visual Builder or Oracle Process Cloud.
  • Background in pharmaceuticals, biotech, or healthcare environments.
  • Exposure to AWS or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
