Job Summary

Light Way is a growing provider of in-home ABA therapy. We work with children and their families to build essential skills and promote independence through individualized support. We are currently hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) who are compassionate, reliable, and committed to making a positive impact. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and experience working with children, particularly those with autism and other developmental disabilities. This role involves implementing individualized treatment plans, collecting data on patient progress, and providing support in daily living activities (ADLs). The ABA Therapist will work closely with families to promote positive behavior changes and enhance the quality of life for clients.

Requirements

  • Active RBT Certification through the BACB ((preferred but not required — we will assist qualified candidates in obtaining certification)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred)
  • Experience working with children (e.g., teaching, childcare, therapy, tutoring, etc.)
  • Reliable transportation to and from client sessions in Basking Ridge, NJ
  • Must pass background checks and meet all compliance requirements
  • Strong interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills

Experience

  • Proven experience in behavioral therapy or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental disabilities.
  • Familiarity with special education practices and patient care protocols.
  • Strong teaching skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner.
