Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression
  • Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software
  • Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experiences
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly with a positive attitude, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills
  • Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is organized, welcoming, and fully stocked with necessary supplies
  • Conduct night audits to reconcile daily transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing and record-keeping
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest requests swiftly and effectively

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations preferred
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively
  • Strong customer service skills with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences
  • Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest interaction techniques
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in resort or hotel environments is advantageous for understanding hospitality standards
