The Front Desk Agent plays a vital role in creating a positive guest experience and maintaining the smooth operation of the front desk.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures
  • Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications using hotel management software
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and promptness
  • Operate phone system to answer calls efficiently and provide information about hotel services
  • Maintain accurate guest records and billing information
  • Provide concierge services such as booking transportation or local attractions
  • Ensure the front desk area is tidy, organized, and welcoming at all times
  • Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Assist with night audit procedures when required to ensure financial accuracy for daily transactions
  • Respond to online platform inquiries and requests

Requirements

  • Prior experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
  • Strong phone etiquette and proficiency with multi-line phone systems
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively
  • Knowledge of hotel management software is a plus
  • Exceptional guest relations skills with a focus on creating positive experiences
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and overnights if necessary
  • Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for representing the hotel brand

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
