Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed mental health professional to join our team as an independent contractor providing psychotherapy services. This role can be provided online, in person, or hybrid. For in-person sessions, we will work with you to secure office space in Portland or a nearby city based on your preferences.
We welcome applications from any independently licensed mental health provider in Oregon (Psychologist, LPC, LMFT, LCSW).
Compensation and Support
- Competitive percentage-based revenue split starting at 50%, based on experience and areas of expertise (e.g. couples, pediatrics, being able to work with certain identities) with room for growth over time via annual increases
- Opportunities for non-clinical work (e.g., running trainings, leadership, marketing efforts, etc.)
- All billing, booking, marketing, and administrative tasks are handled by our team
- We provide insurance credentialing for you (and actively negotiate increased reimbursement rates on an annual basis)
- Flexible scheduling (you set your hours)
- If you have clients who want to continue working with you, we can support them through that and make it a seamless transition
- No required minimum caseload
Status & Growth Path
- Independent Contractor status to start
- W‑2 employment option anticipated within 12 months for those seeking employee status
- Part-time or full-time availability accepted
- Online, in-person, and hybrid with flexibility to switch when needed
Responsibilities
- Provide individual psychotherapy for adults (and other populations within your scope)
- Maintain accurate, timely, and ethical clinical documentation
- Deliver culturally responsive, inclusive care to a diverse client population
- Attend periodic check-ins with the practice owner to coordinate care and resources
Qualifications
- Current Oregon license as a Psychologist, LPC, LMFT, or LCSW
- Strong commitment to ethical, evidence-based practice
- Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with the practice team
- Comfort providing telehealth services (training available if needed)
Preferred (but Not Required)
- Experience working with neurodivergent clients and their families
- Couples therapy interest or expertise
- Interest in contributing to a collaborative, provider-first practice environment
- Interest in future leadership
Job Type: Contract
Projected Total Compensation: $50, $120,000.00 per year
