Job Description:

The Manager, Legal Operations position will report to the Director, Legal Operations and offers an excellent opportunity to work in a unique environment, where dedication is recognized, and new ideas are welcomed. The applicant will be primarily responsible for carrying out legal operations initiatives. The role requires superior attention to detail, great organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple projects. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information is required.

Responsibilities

  • Support Legal Operations Function for Transaction Readiness

    • Implement scalable processes, documentation, and governance aligned to diligence expectations across the organization (regional for practices)

  • Implement Enterprise-Wide Legal Operations Strategy

    • Ensure projects align with priorities across team functions, organizational departments, enterprise businesses and investors.

  • Maintain and Operationalize Legal Department Standards

    • Apply departmental processes and project roadmaps while identifying areas of opportunity. 

  • Manage Legal Operations Initiatives

    • Oversee departmental projects and organization initiatives.

  • Build and Maintain Strong Relationships with Stakeholders

    • Ensure practices (regional), business units and stakeholders are aware of (and utilizing) the legal operations tools available to them, and provide support, acting as a liaison between Legal leadership, the Legal Operations function and such practices/business units/stakeholders.

  • Act as Force Multiplier for Executive Leadership

    • Carry out day-to-day legal operations, allowing executive leadership to focus on growth, M&A and long-term scale.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3+ years of experience in a healthcare legal role

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Familiarity using Microsoft Outlook

  • Comfortable with using technology systems and platforms for work management

  • Experience with ServiceNow, ContractWorks, , DocuSign, strongly preferred

  • Oncology MSO background strongly preferred

  • Healthcare M&A experience and understanding strongly preferred

Work Location

  • Remote with occasional travel required, to be scheduled in conjunction with the Director, Legal Operations.
