Title: Finance Internship

Location(s): Marlborough, MA

Duration: 12 Weeks (May- August 2026)

Your Opportunity:

As a Finance Intern at Boston Scientific, you will…

  • Be placed on a team within Accounting, Internal Audit, Treasury, or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) within a Division, Corporate, or Global Supply Chain.
  • Work on a project where your findings or solutions will be implemented into the business.
  • Be a valued team member whose ideas are encouraged and supported.
  • Interact with Boston Scientific leadership and collaborate with people committed to innovation in healthcare.
  • Network with the finance community, employee resource groups, and other interns.
  • Meet with an assigned peer mentor who will be a resource for you throughout your internship and beyond
  • Present on your work to the finance community including senior management.
  • Interview for the Finance Leadership Development Program, a two-year, full-time, salaried rotation program dedicated to internally developing talented entry-level professionals into future business leaders.

Your Impact:

Examples of meaningful work by Finance Interns

  • Conducted trended SG&A analysis to identify main drivers of growth and areas of opportunity for investment in support of the divisional annual operating plan target setting process (Urology & Pelvic Health FP&A Intern).
  • Lead forecast accuracy analysis project to identify the main drivers underlying variances in production spending for manufacturing plants (Global Supply Chain FP&A Intern).
  • Performed a simulated audit by examining auditee files, interviewing employees, preparing audit work papers, and presenting findings to senior management (Internal Audit Intern).
  • Advised on potential goodwill impairments by performing both qualitative and quantitative analysis including analyzing strategic plans vs. actual results and meeting with divisional controllers (Technical Accounting Intern).

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently a rising senior (grad dates between Dec May Must have at least one semester of school left post-internship to qualify
  • Pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance major
  • Ability to work in the US permanently without any restriction

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Highly motivated leader
  • Strong record of academic achievement
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills preferred
  • Prior intern experience in finance or accounting is a plus

Minimum Salary: $ 49,920.00

Maximum Salary: $ 54,080.00

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
