Your Role: Communications Intern

The Communications intern will conduct a comprehensive Internal Communications Analysis and Platform Capability Audit, exploring how team members consume information across internal platforms. 

The intern will also assess the use and potential of supporting platforms including Cision, ContactMonkey, Canva, Everbridge, and Works24. By integrating findings from both areas, the intern will deliver actionable insights and visual tools that highlight engagement trends, identify opportunities to streamline workflows, and recommend improvements for reach and impact.

Requirements:

  • Public Relations or Communications Major with writing skills across internal and external communications (social media copy, press releases, PR pitches, blogs, etc.)
  • Competent in using PowerPoint, Canva, and Microsoft Word
  • Experience with Everbridge, Content Monkey, Cision and SharePoint is also desired
  •  Strong creative vision and attention to detail, with the ability to bring concepts to life through multiple communications platforms
  • Collaborative problem solver
  • Deadline driven team player with outstanding organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in public relations and communications (internal & external)
