Role Summary:

This position will directly support the Regional Capital Project Management (RCPM) Team, working closely with the Renovations Team, Conventional Acquisitions Team as well as Asset Management. The base salary for this position is between $62,400 to 72,800 per year.

What You'll Do:

Contract Administration

  • Contract Service Agreement assembly from Bid comparison sheets.
  • Contract tracking through signature and filing process
  • Insurance form collection with contracts and filing
  • Review of vendor insurance policies
  • Researching contractors to confirm that they are in good standing
  • Intent to Lien notice tracking and alignment with Lien Releases
  • Verification of vendor payments
  • Rush check requests

Weekly Reporting and Updates

  • Contract Tracking Report
  • Investments & Asset Management – Weekly RCPM Project Update Report (To Be Built)
  • Assembling the monthly TAAPS (project budget update) reports for distribution
  • Prepare TAAPs reports for major insurance claims under the supervision of a Renovation Project Manager.
  • Tracking incoming projects requested via Site Teams, Regional Managers or Asset Managers
  • Assist with budget planning and documentation for submission to Asset Managers

Project Support & Execution

  • Update Specialized Work Action Tactical Team (SWAT) specifications sheets
  • Assist in new market SWAT projects
  • Product research
  • Renovation inspections as needed
  • Accounting research
  • Gathering and organizing deliverables for Partner walks for presentations
  • Drafting of letters for rebid/termination of services in event shift is occurring for services on proper

What You Bring:

  • Two years office experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products, Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Organizational skills, tracking, following up, confirming completion
  • The ability to problem solve and/or ask enough questions to find the answers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including follow-up calls and cold call
  • Experience with third party portal platforms , ContractWorks, Pivot, Oracle, etc.)
  • The successful candidate must possess a positive attitude, initiative, creativity, flexibility, patience, accountability, logical thought process, integrity, professionalism, and be a strong team player. The profile of the person is one who can move easily between contracts to review for completeness and accuracy of construction draws.
