Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Showroom Sales Representative to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service while showcasing our high-end products. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of sales expertise, design knowledge, and a passion for helping customers realize their renovation and construction dreams. As a Showroom Sales Representative, you will engage with clients both in-person and over the phone, guiding them through product selections and ensuring a seamless purchasing experience.

Duties

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits effectively.
  • Manage the sales process from initial contact through to closing, including upselling complementary products.
  • Maintain an organized showroom environment, ensuring products are well-stocked and merchandised attractively.
  • Handle transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
  • Collaborate with team members on layout design and lighting design projects.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and following up on leads.
  • Build relationships with clients through effective account management and communication skills.
  • Stay informed about industry trends in renovation, construction, and interior design to assist customers better.

Skills

  • Proven experience in outside sales or inside sales within retail or high-end environments.
  • Proficiency in design software such as SketchUp, CAD, or similar tools.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close sales effectively.
  • Knowledge of renovation, remodeling, construction processes, and lighting sales is advantageous.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with retail math concepts for accurate pricing and inventory management.
  • Ability to perform product demos that engage customers effectively.
